The Omron NX series Digital I/O Unit offers a wide range of options for general purpose use to high speed synchronous control. It features I/O modules on either the NX CPU Unit or EtherCAT Coupler Unit. The unit supports synchronized I/O refreshing with the controller’s control cycle and allows time stamp inputs and outputs to be independently controlled with sub microsecond accuracy across the EtherCAT network.
