This is an Interface module designed to integrate ET200SP distributed I/O with PROFINET networks, providing a Compact communication gateway for automation systems. Supplied as a bundle including a server module and a dual-RJ45 bus adapter, it supports up to 32 local I/O modules and connects additional ET200AL devices while offering security features for industrial Ethernet environments.

It is configurable in STEP7 TIA Portal from V18 and in STEP7 from V5.7 SP2 HF1 and uses GSDML V2.43 for PROFINET integration.

Reverse polarity and short-circuit protection are present, with stored energy buffering of 10ms for brief mains interruptions.

The module provides RUN, ERROR, MAINT and PWR LEDs Plus LINK TX/RX indicators on the bus adapter and supports alarm and diagnostics reporting.
