ctrlX I/O opens up completely new possibilities for connectivity and networking. On the one hand, the I/O range is used for horizontal and vertical integration

on the other hand, it represents a functional extension of the control platform ctrlX CORE. This provides users with comprehensive communication and performance enhancements, as well as I/O modules geared towards future technologies such as 5G, TSN and AI.

The setup is compact, modular and robust - resulting in high savings on the top hat rail: up to 50% less space is required in the control cabinet. Mounting and wiring can be realized without tools. The flexible and powerful solution features, among other things, openness for the EtherCAT ecosystem, flexible machine topologies and diverse communication standards. Web-based configuration and diagnostics, Plug & Run, and integrated monitoring functions take engineering to a new level. ctrlX I/O is perfectly tailored to ctrlX CORE. The mapping in the ctrlX Data Layer enables simple I/O access by all apps or applications. Field and management levels are easily linked even without PLC.
