The B&R Industrial Automation GmbH Module is an IO-Link master that allows intelligent sensor and actuators to be connected in accordance to the IO-Link standard. The module can be used to operate up to 4 IO-Link devices. All IO-Link channels can also be operated in SIO mode if desired and thus used as digital inputs or outputs. The module also has 4 additional digital inputs, which can be used independent of the IO-Link channel configuration.
