The B&R Industrial Automation GmbH Bus Controller enables the connection of X2X Link I/O nodes to POWERLINK. It allows the X2X Link cycle to operate either synchronously at a 1:1 ratio or synchronized to the POWERLINK cycle using a prescaler. POWERLINK is a standard protocol for Fast Ethernet, offering hard real-time characteristics for precise and time-critical industrial communication.
