The B&R Industrial Automation GmbH digital output module is equipped with safe relay outputs designed for floating control of actuators in safety-related applications up to PL e or SIL 3. Each module contains safety relays with positively driven feedback contacts that are internally monitored. The B10d values, representing the safety-related service life of the relay contacts, are provided in the technical specifications and apply up to the defined maximum contact life. Additionally, the module includes a start interlock feature that activates in the event of network errors, enhancing safety by preventing unintended restarts.
