This digital I/O module provides four configurable digital inputs and two relay outputs for integration with motor-control logic blocks in SIMOCODE Basic units. It accepts a control supply of 110–240V AC/DC and is suitable for use in industrial automation panels where additional discrete signalling and switching are required.

The module provides two floating normally open relay contacts

their assignments can be mapped to control functions such as contactors or status signals and NC behaviour can be set via internal signal conditioning.

Each output requires protection using gG fuse links (6A), fast‑acting fuses (10A), or miniature circuit‑breakers with specified characteristics such as C‑curve 1.6A for low prospective fault currents.

Operational ambient temperature is between −25°C to +50°C with up to 95% relative humidity and compliance with IEC 60721 environmental categories for industrial conditions excluding condensation and salt mist.

How are electrical connections MADE and what conductor sizes are supported?


Removable terminals accept solid conductors up to 4 mm² or two conductors up to 2.5 mm², with recommended tightening torque of 0.8–1.2 N·m for secure terminations.
