RS PRO Clear Plastic PETG Copolyester Sheet, 1250 mm x 1250 mm x 6 mm
This easy-to-weld, vacuum-formable clear plastic sheet is perfect for all your packaging needs. Made from a tough, transparent thermoplastic polyester, it provides excellent optical clarity, so you can see what's inside, and is easily screen-printed for clear labelling.
The polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG) sheet features a rating of 78 on the Shore D hardness scale, as well as high resistance to chemicals and 0% water absorption. That means it can protect products from high-impact knocks and drops, moisture, and damage from chemical and solvent spills. The glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate continues to perform in temperatures as low as -29°C.
The PETG is FDA-approved, so you can use it to package food and drug products. It is also self-extinguishing in the event of fire, with a UL 94 flammability rating.
