RS PRO White Nylon Rod, 500 mm x 80 mm Diameter

This RS PRO white nylon rod can be used to create sturdy yet lightweight components. Its excellent machining properties make it easy to cut the 500 mm length into smaller parts.

The rod is UL HB (Underwriters' Laboratories Horizontal Burning) certified, meaning it burns slowly and is safe for use around flames. It's made of a chemically resistant nylon 66 material that has a high impact strength, guaranteeing robust performance over a long product life.

Its high melting point and ability to tolerate temperatures of up to +170°C make it a good choice for high-temperature applications. You'll commonly find it used for packaging and food processing machinery, as well as wheels, bearings and gears in aerospace equipment.
