Phoenix Contact COMBICON MKDS 5.08mm High Temperature PCB Terminal Blocks

High temperature PCB terminal blocks are reflow solder tolerable and enable a greater proportion of a PCB to be populated and reflow soldered in one operation. Recommended as being suitable for temperature profiles based on EN 61 760-01. When used in reflow oven it is recommended that these components are heat treated at +125°C for 48 hours prior to use.

Features and Benefits

• Removes the necessity for costly subsequent soldering operations
• Through-hole fixing offers high mechanical stability
• Made from Liquid Crystal Polymer
• Latching on side of terminal enables various numbers of positions to be combined

Phoenix Contact Non-fused Terminal Block, 2 Way, 5.08 mm - MKDSN 2.5/ 2-5.08 HT BK - 1985946

Choose this Phoenix Contact terminal box when connecting conductors to PCBs (printed circuit boards) in industrial electronic applications. The unit's high temperature tolerance means it can be assembled using reflow soldering technology to provide a durable connection.
Because a number of terminal boxes can be attached at the same time, the automatic process of reflow soldering is quick and cost-effective. The precise temperature control of the reflow soldering oven gives you uncompromised joins that are long-lasting and reliable. An integrated screw locking system is used to attach wires to the terminal and hold conductors securely in place. This component is safe from overheating due to its low rise in temperature.
The Phoenix Contact COMBICON range of terminal blocks set the industry benchmark for efficient individual wiring of PCBs. These compact and lightweight terminals are ideally suited for electronic modules in sectors such as building automation and lighting.
