KEL 8925E Series 1.27 mm Low Profile Wire to Board IDC Ribbon Cable Socket Connectors


8925E series low profile wire to board IDC socket connectors with a 1.27mm pitch designed for use with 0.635mm pitch single flat cable. These 8925E series ribbon cable connectors have a low insertion and withdrawal force and feature IDC contacts with a spring design for a reliable electrical connection. The housings of these 8925E series IDC socket connectors feature an eject lock mechanism which provides a secure connection to the mating connector and allows single handed insertion and release. A strain relief provides extra protection and support to the cable. These 8925E series IDC ribbon cable sockets can be used to make daisy chain cable assemblies and mate with the 8931E Series PCB headers
