Hirose EnerBee DF33C Series 3.3 mm PCB Header Connectors


These DF33C Series 3.3 mm wire to board small power supply header connectors are the smallest connector in the EnerBee range. The DF33C series has a maximum current capacity of 5A when used with 20 AWG wire. The housings of these DF33C headers feature a robust positive locking mechanism which is designed to prevent accidental unmating caused by drops or external shocks. When mated, a clear, tactile click is produced which confirms the connector is fully engaged guaranteeing a complete electrical and mechanical connection. This positive locking mechanism also meets the various requirements of industrial power supply and power sources. The contacts of these DF33C connectors are are separated by walls inside the housing enabling them to be independent of one another and preventing short circuits. These DF33C 3.3 mm header connectors feature guide posts that help with accurate placement and orientation on the PCB. The housing material of the DF33C headers contains a glass filled resin to decrease thermal shrinkage and prevent solder cracking. These DF33C header connectors accept resin sealing up to 6.5 mm high from the board surface without any effect on their performance. This sealing offers protection against dust and moisture penetration.
