You can increase the longevity of your brushes and maintain their quality by caring for them after each use. After use, try and remove the majority of any paint left on the brush, and then rinse with the point of the brush facing downwards under a tap. You can use ordinary detergent to clean the brush, and can do so by working the soap into the bristles and then rinsing. Rinse until the water running through the brush runs clear.
