The IDEAL® Digital Multimeter (model 61-347) is designed with reliability and accuracy in mind. Rated CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V, this auto-ranging, TRMS multimeter measures up to 10 Amps AC and DC current through test leads in series with the load. It handles up to 1000V AC/DC, AC voltage, frequency, resistance up to 60MΩ, continuity, capacitance, and diodes, and includes a K-Type thermocouple for temperature readings in both Fahrenheit and Celsius. The non-contact voltage sensor detects voltage between 40V and 600V, ensuring safety during use. The backlit display enhances visibility, while the illuminated red LED and audible tones alert you to voltage above 30 volts, continuity, and NCV detection. For convenience, the rubber boot features two probe storage points and built-in holders, allowing for easy, one-handed operation. The hang strap mount lets you suspend the meter from various surfaces (Universal Magnetic Hanging Strap model UMHS-757 sold separately), while industrial-grade over-molding provides enhanced grip and 2 m drop protection. Additional features include HOLD, MIN/MAX, Relative, Range, and selectable Auto Power Off functions. The meter comes with three 1.5V AAA batteries and a fully accessible storage pouch with a belt loop, perfect for storing the meter, probes, and thermocouple. The IDEAL® 61-357 Multimeter offers dependable performance for a wide range of applications.
