These Keysight U1240 Series handheld digital multimeters are the latest in the Series and have distinctive orange casing. The U1241B ( 699-7357 ) and U1242B ( 699-7351 ) are typical of the series in that they enable users to check more with wider measurement ranges. Additional features of the U1242B are: manual data logging; built-in switch counter; harmonic ratio; dual/differential temperature capabilities.

While a type J thermocouple is made of iron and constantan, a type K thermocouple is made of chrome and alumel for enhanced resistance to corrosion and acids.
