Siemens Soft Starter, 11kW, 400V AC - 3RW30 Series - 3RW3026-1BB14


Use this innovative soft starter from Siemens to temporarily reduce load and torque during the startup of 3-phase asynchronous motors. The integrated bypass function means it takes up less space in your cabinet while also keeping heat dissipation to a minimum, for a longer working life. Two light-emitting diodes (LEDs) provide a clear, user-friendly display, with the operating status shown as either 'Ready' or 'Run'. Screw and snap-on mounting makes for easy installation, and the unit can be rotated and tilted 10% either way for full flexibility.

• Control voltage of 110V to 230V AC means you can control it from the UK or US mains without the need for a transformer

• Power rating of 11kW and voltage rating of 400V AC lets you use it to soft-start a wide range of large motors

• IP20 (ingress protection) rating assures you that it's touch-proof and dust-resistant

What does a soft starter do?


A soft starter reduces inrush currents and limits torque to protect AC motors at start-up. It smooths out current peaks, prevents voltage fluctuations and reduces the load on the power supply to prevent damage and extend the life of the motor.
