This miniature soft starter from Siemens' SIRIUS range helps you increase both the safety and efficiency of your motor, in a compact package that saves space in your setup. It features an integrated bypass that diverts the current through the soft starter's switching circuits during operation. This helps minimise heat build-up in your control cabinet and increase the working life of your equipment.

Why would I use an integrated bypass contactor with a soft starter?
A bypass contactor opens once the motor has reached full speed. This reduces power loss through heat, which means the enclosure can be made smaller and additional devices aren't needed.
