RS PRO 15 kW Star Delta Starter, 400 V AC, 3 Phase, IP65


Start motors at a lower voltage with this 15 kW three-phase star delta starter. It's a practical option for intermittent motor use or continual stops and starts. This type of starter consists of three efficient contacts, as well as a timer and thermal overload to stop it from overheating. You can control winding currents only with star delta motor starters.

Starter motors work best when fitted with an overload to protect your equipment against electrical surges. As this option doesn't come with one, you can choose a compatible overload from the RF38 series to match the full-load current of your motor. Stock no. 685-1309 is a suitable choice.

To guarantee an effective seal against dust and high-pressure water jets from any direction, this device comes in a moulded plastic case that's sturdy enough to provide IP65 ingress protection. It operates at a temperature range of -25°C to +60°C and can be found in a variety of manufacturing environments.
