The Siemens SIRIUS 3RW40 soft starters, appropriate for standard utilizations in 3-phase systems. The compact, low energy losses and ease of use are in all 3 of the plenty edges of using SIRIUS Basic. This soft starter is equipped with highest functionality. A built-in shunt contact system decrease power loss in operation, which averts overheating of the semi-conductor component of the starter. Thanks to the integrated motor overload protection according to IEC 60947-4-2, there is no need for an additional overload relay. In addition, you can limit the current during startup to a settable maximum value. With the integrated remote reset, you can quickly and easily clear faults from a remote location. It has Worldwide approvals (e.g. IEC and UL/CSA), also for applications in hazardous areas (ATEX or IEC Ex).
