GSM-Q2403 GSM/GPRS RS232 Modem
The Quasar UK GSM-Q2403 is a GSM/GPRS Modem that can add cellular network connectivity to PCs and other terminal devices, ideal for applications where a fixed phone line is unavailable.
The modem incorporates the Wavecom 2403 GSM engine offering Circuit Switched Data (CSD) calls, SMS functionality and internet access. The GSM-Q2403 interfaces with a host device via a RS232 connector with power being provided via the included supply. The modem is housed within a rugged aluminium enclosure to provide protection in demanding environments. An integral SIM card holder accepts the standard mini-SIM format.
