Kinetis V Series Microcontrollers

Kinetis V Series Microcontrollers are based upon the ARM® Cortex®-M0+ and M4 cores and are designed for BLDC, PMSM and ACIM motor control, as well as DIGITAL POWER conversion applications. The Kinetis KV1x family is the entry point and features a 75 MHz ARM Cortex-M0+ core with a hardware square root and divide Block giving it a 27% increase in performance vs. comparable 32-bit MCUs in sensorless Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) control. All Freescale Microcontrollers are supported by a suite of resources from Freescale and third-parties, including reference designs, software libraries and motor configuration tools.

The Kinetis range of ARM Cortex core microcontrollers consists of multiple hardware- and software-compatible Cortex-M0+ and Cortex-M4 MCU families with exceptional low-power performance, memory scalability and feature integration. Families range from the entry-level Cortex-M0+ Kinetis L Series to the high-performance, feature-rich Cortex-M4 Kinetis K and include a wide selection of analogue, communication, HMI, connectivity and security features.
