The Microchip Technology ATMEGA family type, TQFP package, surface mount, 32-pin AVR RISC-based processor 8-bit microcontroller with hardware multiplier. It has a maximum voltage rating of 5.5V. This microcontroller operates at a maximum speed of 20MHz and features 32kb ISP flash program memory, 2kb of internal SRAM and 1024 byte of EEPROM. It has 23 programmable I/O lines, serial programmable USART, 8-channel 10-bit ADC in TQFP package, programmable watchdog timer with an internal oscillator and five software selectable power saving modes. By executing powerful instructions in a single clock cycle, the device achieves throughputs approaching 1MIPS per MHz, balancing power consumption and processing speed.
