The STM8L-DISCOVERY kit is based on the STM8L152C6T6 8-bit ultra-low power microcontroller.

• 16MHz STM8L152C6T6 microcontroller, 32KB Flash, 2KB RAM, 1KB EEPROM
• SWIM connector
• PC connection via miniUSB socket
• 6-Digit, 4-Bar LCD display panel
• Extension header for all GPIO
• 2 x LEDs: USB communication, Power On
• 2 x User LEDs
• 2 x pushbuttons: User and RESET
• Powered by USB or external supply of +5V or +3.3 Vdc
• Can supply target application with +5V and +3V
• IDD current measurement circuit
• SWIM debug support
• Embedded ST-Link program/debug

The STM8 platform is implemented around a high-performance 8-bit core and a state-of-the-art set of peripherals. The 8-bit microcontroller operates at 16/24MHz, featuring flash memory up to 128kB, internal RAM and EEPROM, 8/16-bit timers, A/D Converters, D/A Converters, Comparators, Serial Interfaces and an optional Display controller.
