Festo Manifold Base, 20 Stations, G1/4 - VABM-L1-14W-G14-20-GR

This manifold base from Festo links solenoid valves together, providing greater control of the flow of fluids in your pneumatic system. With this single component, you can easily direct flows into multiple directions, combining or dividing them as necessary. With fewer parts, the possibility of developing leaks or other inefficiencies is reduced. This unit uses base mounting for quick and simple positioning and is designed for use with Festo's VUVG-B series of sub-base solenoid valves.

• Aluminium-alloy body resists corrosion and provides durability
• 20 stations are available for connecting, enabling a high volume of flow
• Standard thread size of G1/4 allows versatile use and a wide range of connections

Applications

• Pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Beverage processing
• Semi-conductor industry
• Air conditioning systems

What is a solenoid valve?

A solenoid valve uses electricity to work a coil with a magnetic core plunger at its centre. This plunger opens and shuts the valve in response to the electrical charge. A manifold rail allows several valves to be connected simultaneously for fast and efficient control of a system's flow direction.
