The lens of this magnifier is made from polymethyl acrylate (PMA) with a duplex hardened coating that makes it extremely durable and unlikely to break. This material is also antistatic and scratch-resistant to ensure clear and sharp magnification. It's supplied in a polished chrome case that protects the magnifier from damage. As the glass is attached to the case, you can rotate the magnifier in and out as you need it.
