RS PRO Zinc-Plated & Clear Passivated Pan Steel Tamper Proof Security Screw, M3 x 6 mm


These tamper-proof security screws from the RS PRO range are designed to protect structures or equipment from vandals. They also provide extra security during assembly. This is because the screw drive heads require a specific type of Star (star-shaped) screwdriver, which is not commonly used.

The screws are 6 mm in length with an M3 thread size. The Star head is specifically designed to prevent the screwdriver slipping (caming) out when fastening. This protects the screws from damage and ensures their longevity. The security screws are bright-zinc-plated with a clear passivated finish (a protective coating of inert material). This gives the screws excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation (rusting).

These versatile screws can be used for a number of joint types. They're used in sectors such as automotive or commercial industries, where secure, tamper-proof fastenings are vital.
