The Renesas ISL317xE series is a RS-485 and RS-422 standard transceivers with supply voltage Vcc Ranges from 3 to 3.6 volts for better communication. This series is configured for full duplex (separate Receiver input and Transmitter output pins) applications.

High data rates which can range up to 20Mbps

Quiescent supply current is very low (800μA ) maximum

Low shutdown supply current (10nA)

-7V to +12V common-mode input/output voltage range

Thermal shutdown and current limiting for driver overload protection

Tiny MSOP packages which consume 50% less board space

This series are full safe (open, short, terminated/floating) receivers
