Typically used to automatically control mechanical equipment, this type of snap limit switch often found in industrial applications. It can be used to start, stop, or slow down a device when a limit is reached. This could be when a part moves past a specific point, or when a pre-set number of objects is counted. It's also easy to install and has a simple visible operation.
Boasting a long-lasting, reliable snap action the switch offers precise, repeatable contact closure. The rotary lever actuator is easily adjusted – handy if you're not sure what arm length is required. The switch is capable of handling currents up to 10 A.
Made from UL-VO (flame-retardant) thermoplastic fibreglass, this limit switch offers double insulation. It comes with an IP65 protection rating for dust and oil resistance. A flexible component with many possible applications, this switch is well-suited for controlling anything from a robotic arm to a furnace or garage door.
