SICK C2C Series Light Curtain Sender, 14 mm Resolution

This light curtain sender is intended for safeguarding access to hazardous areas in normal industrial environments. It provides optical synchronisation with a compatible receiver to form a protective field and is designed for continuous use where machine guarding and presence detection are required. The unit operates from a 24V DC supply and features LEDs for status indication while withstanding typical industrial ambient conditions.

It accepts 24V DC with an operating window of 19.2V to 28.8V and a ripple limit of ≤10%.

On a fault at least one OSSD is turned off to bring the system to a safe state and cross-circuits or short-circuits trigger lock-out.

It operates between -30°C and +55°C, stores at -30°C to +70°C, and tolerates 15% to 95% non‑condensing humidity.

The housing uses an aluminium extruded profile and the enclosure rating meets IP65 and IP67.

It resists vibration at 5 to 150Hz with 3.5mm/1g and shock up to 15g/6 ms.
