Avago HSMx-A40x Series LEDs


The Avago HSMx-A40x series of SMT LEDs are housed in Power PLCC-4 packages and offer significant improvements in performance over conventional PLCC-2 SMT LEDs. They can be operated at higher currents and dissipate heat more efficiently, allowing higher light output levels to be achieved. These SMT LEDs have higher reliability and better performance than their predecessors, and are designed to work under a wide range of environmental conditions making them suitable for use under the harsh environmental conditions encountered in automotive applications. They are equally well suited to a whole range of other applications such as illumination of electronic signs and signals, office equipment, display backlighting and home automation.
