The HLMP-1340, HLMP-1440, HLMP-1540 and HLMP-K640 series, from Avago Technologies, are ultra-bright LED lamps. They come in the standard T-1 (3mm) through-hole package. The Avago HLMP-1340/1440/1540/K640 LEDs use a higher intensity material than conventional LED lamps, making an improvement in their performance.

The HLMP‑1340 Series Lamps are Gallium Arsenide Phosphide on Gallium Phosphide red light emitting diodes. The HLMP‑1440 Series are Gallium Arsenide Phosphide on Gallium Phosphide yellow light emitting diodes. The HLMP-1540 and HLMP-K640 Series Lamps are Gallium Phosphide green light emitting diodes.

Suitable applications for these LEDs include; lighted switches, backlight front panels, light pipe sources and keyboard indicators.
