A solid construction that is dust-tight and protected from high-powered jets of water makes this RS PRO junction box a good choice for protecting outdoor electrical wiring and connections. It's made from hardwearing mild steel.
This unit’s high Ingress Protection (IP) rating is achieved thanks to its sturdy, well-sealed make-up, consisting of a welded body with an expanded polyurethane (PU) seal pressed against all-round knife edges. It has a wall thickness of 1.4 mm and is finished in a grey, glossy powder coat. The terminal box is suitable for wall mounting and has a screw locking cover. Ensure your terminal box is secured correctly by matching it with the appropriate RS PRO wall mount bracket kit.
