Eaton Isolator Switch, Red Handle, 690V AC Rating - T3 Series - 207210 T3-4-15682/I2/SVB

Give currents a time-out with this isolator switch from Eaton. It's used to safely shut things down when you need to go through your equipment to look for a fault or fix an issue. It can also act as an emergency off button in hazardous conditions. A yellow locking ring lets you set the device to the off position and secure it to prevent unauthorised access. As it has a high 22kW power rating, you can hook it up to heavy-duty systems like motors without a problem.

Features & Benefits

• Works without a hitch in temperatures from -25°C to +40°C

• Mechanical lifespan of over 400,000 operations, for a long service life

• Screw terminal design makes for straightforward installation and achieves a vibration-proof fit

What's the difference between an isolator and a switch relay?

Both products turn your system off or on, but they're used in different situations. For example, switch relays open or close the circuit quickly for everyday operation but aren't suitable when making repairs or checking for faults. Isolator switches like this one isolate the currents, providing safety when you need to give your equipment a once-over.
