StarTech's 10ft Centronics (36 pins) Male Converter - ICUSB128410


This handy adapter from StarTech is 10ft in length, meaning you can position an Epson printer and host Windows laptop within an extended distance of each other. The added benefit of this parallel port is it's plug in and play installation.

The adapter is bus powered through the host computer's USB port, so there's no need for an external power supply. Even better, utilising a USB port means data can transfer much faster than a standard centronics 36 pins to centronics 36 pins connection. This increases productivity by reducing wait time for printer jobs or data transfers.

This parallel printer adapter cable connects with peripheral devices via a 25 pin connection and is bi-directional. It is a cost-effective, reliable solution to replacing parallel printers because of USB incompatibility. This cable uses minimal power and draws its power from the host computer.
