The Ixxat CAN/FD Repeater Standard CAN/FD with two CAN/CAN FD interfaces can be used to improve the load capacity of the CAN bus with nodes, to establish a physical coupling of CAN/CAN FD bus systems or to insert a galvanic isolation. It provides the flexibility to optimize network structures and liberates them from CAN bus structure constraints for optimized operation.

• Interfaces: CAN FD, push-in connector

• CAN/CAN FD bit rates: 14 kBit/s up to 8000 kBit/s.

• CAN termination: For each CAN/CAN FD channel; separately switchable by piano switch

• Throughput delay: Type. 175 ns (corresponds to approx. 35 m cable length)

• Electrical decoupling: CAN-CAN and CAN-Power with at least 5 kV DC for 1 minute; CAN shield against earth and Power against earth with at least 2 kV DC for 1 minute

• Housing: Plastic top-hat rail housing
