RS PRO 1327K is a pocket-sized, easy-to-use pistol grip IR thermometer. It enables temperature measurement by Infrared non-contact or by using a plug-in type-K thermocouple probe. The thermometer has an integral laser to assist sighting the Infrared sensor in making non-contact measurements of items that may be inaccessible or hazardous to touch (such as rotating machinery or high-voltage bus bars). The Infrared mode does not rely on physical contact with the object which is to have its temperature taken, but measures the radiated infrared energy emanating from the object. The thermocouple connector will accept a standard liquid, air or surface thermocouple probe, as required to suit the particular application. The Liquid Crystal Display has a backlight function which can assist measurements made in dark places. Other features include reading auto-hold, auto power-off, maximum and minimum readings, alarm levels and adjustable emissivity.

Being able to maintain an accuracy reading of ±0.25%, these 2 meter wire type K and type T probes offer a fantastic solution to measuring temperature. These probes are manufactured from stainless steel 316 with sealed silicone rubber tip for waterproof assembly throughout. This construction allows for immersion in liquid. Temperature probes have a sensor that has been engineered to measure the temperature of a variety of applications.

K Clamp style probe is ideal for the measurement of pipe temperatures. The probe simply clamps onto the pipe, the built-in sensor ensures that that good thermal contact with the pipe is maintained. Supplied with a 2 m extended length lead complete with a moulded thermocouple connector.
