The connectors are threaded, meaning they achieve a tight electrical connection and are easy to assemble and disassemble in the field. Numbered receptacles on the female housing ensure there are no soldering errors. The connector is suitable for wire diameters of 7 mm to 12 mm and the panel hole size is 21 mm.
