RS PRO Hook Up Wire - UL1015
Our RS PRO range of hook up wires keeps on improving. We are pleased to introduce a new series of UL 1015 flexible hook-up wire perfect for internal wiring and electrical equipment. These 24 AWG copper conductor wires are supplied on a reel with red, green or black insulated sheaths, and offered in 100 metre lengths.
Upon inspection the cables are solid, extremely robust, core strands are tinned copper and have a voltage rating of 600 V. The equipment wires are protected with insulation made from high-quality PVC ensuring the cables are reliable and meet the criteria for installation.
What is a 24 AWG hook-up wire?
A 24 AWG hook up wire is primarily used for internal wiring applications. The inner core is very strong, flexible and equally as strong as single core conductors, so they have a long service life. They offer a larger diameter perfect for being pulled and routing during installation.
