The simple design of these fixed-pin aluminium butt hinges incorporates reliability and toughness in one handy package. As part of our RS PRO series, they've been stringently tested to meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.

The hinges are crafted from 5 mm thick die-cast zinc. This is a lightweight material that's stronger and harder than similar alloys at room temperature. Offering good corrosion resistance, die-cast zinc can also withstand high operating temperatures. These hinges are powder-coated for a premium-quality, long-lasting finish. Thanks to their attractive finish, they can even be used as a design feature. They come in a size of 40 mm x 40 mm and have pre-drilled holes for easy mounting.

To ensure protection from damage due to electrostatic discharge, the hinges conform to the ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards. They're ideal for more demanding environments and heavier applications, including heating and ventilation systems.
