RS PRO Plain Brass Hex M8 x 40 mm Set Screw
When you need to hold moving components such as camshafts or gear drives in place, use this RS PRO set screw. It features M8 threading that spans the length of the body. This makes it an excellent choice for applications that require a lot of grip strength, such as repairing car body panels.
The screw has a hex head that makes it simple to install with a normal wrench. Thanks to its solid brass construction, it's highly durable and will last a long time. The device has been quality-tested by engineers and complies with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) regulations, meaning it includes only trace amounts of environmentally harmful materials.
A set screw like this one is frequently used in the automotive, manufacturing and construction industries. It's also suitable for maritime environments as the brass material offers excellent resistance to rust and corrosion.
