RS PRO Heating Element, 150 mm, 600 W, 220 V AC
Reach for this handy, tubular heating element from RS PRO when you need to apply targeted heat to any number of components and metal plates. This tough little cartridge heater is ideally suited to packaging applications, plastics manufacture and hot stamping or printing processes.
This cartridge heater is constructed to slide easily into drilled holes. Note that you'll need to know what you plan to use the heater for in advance, as the element needs to fit tightly in order to work properly. This cartridge is 10 mm in diameter and 150 mm long.
The heating element comes fitted with a 10-inch flexible lead wire that has deep holes bored into a ceramic cap at the end to prevent it fraying when bent. The wire's fibreglass-insulated and can handle temperatures of up to +450°C.
As with all RS PRO quality products, this cartridge heater has been stringently tested for safety.
