RS PRO Heating Element, 2 in, 70 W, 220 V AC
This cartridge heater from RS PRO is designed for the application of targeted heat to solid metal items. Its built-in leads can withstand extreme temperatures of up to +450°C, and the high-impact ceramic cap can resist knocks, shocks and vibrations for use in demanding environments.
To install this heating element, fit the cartridge snugly into a drilled hole for optimal heat transfer. To ensure good performance over a long lifetime, it has deep holes in the cap that mean the leads won't fray when bent. A TIG (tungsten inert gas) welded end disc prevents moisture absorption and contamination. Thanks to its compact size, this heater is suitable for small spaces.
This component is ideal for industrial applications that require localised heating. It should be used with a temperature sensor and control system in order to prevent overheating.
