RS PRO Heating Element, 50 mm, 250 W, 220 V AC
Use this heating element from RS PRO for immersion heating jobs at high temperatures. As it's highly compact, you can pass it through a tank wall to apply direct heat in small spaces.
This unit features fibreglass-insulated wiring that can handle temperatures of up to +450°C. It also has a robust ceramic cap that protects the element from excessive vibrations. This cap is designed with deep holes that prevent the wires from fraying when bent, which assures you a long product life. The nickel-chromium resistance wire won't corrode or rust, even in harsh environments.
Heating elements such as this one are well-suited to warehouses, workshops and other industrial settings. It's recommended that you use this unit together with a temperature sensor and control system to prevent excess heating.
