The hinged hasp and staple is supplied with pre-drilled holes that allow you to quickly and easily attach it to a frame and adjacent door. Both of these components are made from a durable steel material that's not easily damaged and stands up well to wear and tear. Zinc plating increases the lifespan of the unit and makes it unlikely to rust.
