RS Pro IP65 Aluminium Enclosure With PCB Slots
From RS Pro, this aluminium enclosure provides maximum protection from the flanges, making it perfect for housing electrical components. Made of aluminium alloy with a smooth unpainted finish. As standard, the rails inside allow PCB's or other types of boards to be fitted. Fixings holes are external, keeping the gasket seal intact. The gasket has a continuous neoprene gasket to prevent leakages into the enclosure. All models are highly reliable and excellent quality.

What kind of protection do these enclosures have?
With an IP rating of IP65, this enclosure is dust proof, splash proof and protects from water jets from any direction. Making it suitable for harsher environments. As an example, these could be used on ferries or boats to house electrical equipment, due to the immunity from rain and small splashes.
What is an enclosure?
General purpose enclosures are protective boxes, used to house industrial, electronic and other sensitive equipment. Depending on the environment, different levels of protection may be required. These particular boxes enclose electrical and medical components and shield them from interfering circumstances.
