You can use this RS PRO light industrial foot pedal to control and adjust the voltage output in a variety of industrial applications. This type of foot-operated potentiometer is often applied to change the speed of motors in motor drives and other equipment.
The pedal is made from a thermoplastic material to ensure excellent insulation and resistance to physical impact. It uses a solid-state optical sensor and is designed for repetitive use over longer periods, which significantly increases its lifespan and reduces maintenance costs.
The product has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IPX2, so you can be sure it's well protected against dust, condensation and dripping water. It also meets American (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and British (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic discharge standards, so you can be sure the risk of a discharge is minimised.
