The ifm electronic Vortex Flow Meter with display features gold plated contacts to ensure robust performance. Designed for media such as water, glycol solutions, and coolants, it operates effectively across a temperature range of -10 to 90°C and can handle pressures up to 12 bar. For applications in colder environments up to 40°C, the maximum allowable working pressure is 3.9 bar. The flow meter operates with a voltage range of 18 to 30V DC and has a low current consumption of under 30mA. Its electrical design includes reverse polarity protection, a power on delay of less than 3 seconds, and a protection class of III. The meter features two digital outputs with configurable functions including switching and frequency signals, and supports PNP/NPN configurations with short circuit and overload protection.
