RS PRO Stainless Steel Vertical Float Switch


From RS PRO, this 304 Stainless Steel vertical float switch operates at 230 V ac. It has an N/O (normally open) configuration. It features a 28.2 mm diameter float that is rugged and durable. With an extensive operating temperature range of -40 °C to +125 °C, this float switch can operate within water, acids and oil. It is also suitable for food contact.

This float switch operates vertically, but it can be mounted stem up as well as stem down. When it is mounted stem up, all of the operating functions are reversed.

The switching behaviour of the float switch can be altered by electromagnetic influence and magnetic fields.

Warning

The cable entry point must NOT under any circumstances be submerged. The mounting thread and cable entry must be above the highest level of the liquid.
