The float lies on top of the liquid, and its internal magnet causes the switch reed to turn when the liquid levels change. You can install it on the top or the bottom of your tank, making it a practical solution for tanks with no side access. It's compatible with a wide variety of liquids, including vegetable oil, brake fluid and fresh water, so it can be used in applications such as food manufacturing and vehicle maintenance.
