This float switch from Sensata Cynergy3 monitors liquid levels in your container. It helps prevent overflow hazards in water catchment areas and can also be used to keep track of liquid volume when emptying or filling a tank. Any changes in level are detected by the sensor component that floats on the liquid surface. It then signals the switch to open or close your circuit when the levels reach a certain point. It's commonly used in fire water towers and cisterns, as well as to detect leaks in water tanks.
